Why We Prefer HASTELLOY C276 PLATE:-
These plate shows high resistance to corrosion. It also exhibit higher resistance to all manner of pitting and cracking. It having resistance to oxidation and reduction. These plates easily preform hot working and cold working. Whenever the plates are welded they form precipitates of grain boundry in the heat affected zone. These HASTELLOY PLATE having low carbon they can also be withstand to the corrosive effect of the wet chlorine gas, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide. The resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting and stress corrosion cracking. Mostly it is used in industries like pulp and paper production industry, chemical processing industry, municipal waste treatment, as well as for the recovery of sour natural gas. It turn to give the alloy its corrosion resistance properties mainly against pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environment. And the chromium offers resistance against oxidizing media.

Description OF HASTELLOY C276:-
HASTELLOY C276 alloy is a Nickel-chromium-molybdenum formed alloy which is considered the most versatile corrosion resistant alloy. These HASTELLOY alloy is resistant to the formation of grain boundary precipitates in the weld heat-affected zone. Because of these formation the alloy get suitable for most chemical process applications, where it shows welded condition. These Alloy exhibits excellent resistance to pitting, stress-corrosion cracking and oxidizing atmospheres. The Alloy grade C276 has exceptional resistance to a wide variety of chemical atmosphere.
